What do people say?...
Tattoos are very personal and when approaching a woman, it gives men something to comment on or relate to. In a way, it gives men more confidence to approach because it gives them something personal to open with besides the usual cliches or pick up lines. A visible tattoo gives a man a way pay attention to a woman without coming on too strong, or too interested.
Most women love attention and compliments. When a woman has visible tattoos, in a way she is saying: “Here I am and this is who I am, so come talk to me”. Normally women dress to impress other women, so if a man comments on her attire, he may come off as gay or metrosexual. General comments regarding looks like “you have pretty eyes” are not as personal and come off fake. Asking a woman about her tattoo(s) is saying: “I accept you for who you are and I’m interested in you, and your story”.
From a psychological standpoint, women that have tattoos may be deemed easier to pick up. Man logic would determine: “If a woman is confident or happy with herself, she would not feel a need to improve her self image”. A tattoo is a way for a woman to draw attention to herself, a way to build confidence, and a way to improve her self image. Man logic would determine: “Women with tattoos may have lower self esteem and confidence issues”, and therefore may be deemed ‘easier’ to approach.
From a religious and a social aspect a woman having a tattoo is still considered taboo. The bible forbids marking one’s body, so if a woman isn’t strictly following scripture in this regard, she may not be following scripture in other regards, like having pre-marital $ex. Socially, a woman getting a tattoo is a sign that she is rebelling against her parents or what old school society considers being ‘lady like’. Bad girls get tattoos. Bad girls have $ex outside of marriage. Bad girls and girls with lower self esteem are deemed easier to approach.
Well, honestly I have never met any woman who had tattoos, your body is like a canvas. Some people try to preserve that canvas in order to secure the sanctity of their body, others fill it with mystery and majestic. It doesn’t really seem trashy or classy, it all depends on how the person finds it comfortable in being who they are, tattoos might be taboo in some cultures but it’s a way of telling something a story, an event, a feeling, emotions, preferences, or just down right classy.
Well, I know it might seem trashy to those people who live in a non secular society where all these things are flawed or looked down upon, but yeah there are bad effects and good effects of everything but we carry all of them together and not just one. Because a person no matter male or female having tattoos is just a person at the end of the day, and if you judge a book by it’s cover. well you get the idea.
Although tattoos, are like art and it should be preserved on the canvas of every person out there. :P :D XD
No matter how weird or intensifying you might find them, they are just pieces of art; take them as such. judge the art and not the artist, apparently if you look it another way, you are just showing how you see others and not the other way around.
If men think this way at all it would imply only the reason that they think those kind of women are more adventurous and open to doing different things with their body.
While this connotation is based ONLY on men’s individual mindsets on women, not every guy or most guys think this way and usually women don’t EVER get tattoos for any other reason because they want and or enjoy tattoos.
Just my opinion tho, I think this is just someone elses opinion based off of what they know or have seen with women getting hit or or women they know with tattoos that don’t have an issue getting guys. Thing is, most women in general don’t ever have an issue with guys, tattoos or not so think it just all boils down to preference and how the girl handles herself.
